Once you fill out the application, the SMBootcamp team will review the application for fit in the cohort that works for your schedule. Once reviewed, the SMBootcamp team will reach out to schedule a call for further information on your background, ETA goals, and fit in the cohort.
SMBootcamp events are hosted Wednesday through Friday from approximately 9am ET to 6pm ET. The event is hosted at Embarc Collective in downtown Tampa, approximately 20 minutes from Tampa International Airport. We recommend that attendees book their hotel at one of our recommendations below, and arrive in Tampa the evening before the event if possible. All hotel recommendations are a 5-15 minute walk to our event venue.
Day 1 covers deal sourcing, screening, and crafting thoughtful offers. You'll dive into real deals through live case studies, engaging directly with our SBA lender and business broker to learn SBA financing and positioning with sellers.
Day 2 focuses on financial analysis and due diligence. Using our ongoing case study approach, you'll practice valuation, financial modeling, and explore critical 3rd party diligence topics including tax, insurance, and quality of earnings with our Deal Team experts.
Day 3 wraps up with best practices for equity capital raising and a preview into post-acquisition life with our Alumni CEOs. You'll learn how to structure the equity raise and gain real-world insights from Alumni who've successfully completed their own acquisitions.
