About Sam
Sam started his career on the professional side of deals. He was a CPA at Price Waterhouse and then an M&A attorney at Foley & Lardner. After years of advising on transactions, he moved to the buy side.
He has since acquired 36+ small businesses in a wide range of industries, including dumpster rental, manufacturing, real estate services, commercial fencing, HVAC, and aquatics management, and he's still actively acquiring. That operating experience is the backbone of everything he teaches.
Today Sam invests in lower middle market acquisitions through Pursuant Capital and supports dozens of acquisition entrepreneurs on their own ETA journeys. He founded SMBootcamp to give buyers a proven path from search to close, and he co-founded SMB Law Group, a law firm that works only with SMB buyers, sellers, and investors.
